01Problem
Four players share one board. Every card, effect and move had to read at a glance, inside a dark, cinematic world.
02What I did
Redesigned the full player experience, one card anatomy with 8+ visual families and a modular game design system.
03Outcome
Shipped and live on Steam, with a system where new cards and seasons plug in without new design work.
01Challenge
Four players. One table. Zero confusion.
- 01
Four players, one board
A free-for-all where every card, effect and opponent move must read mid-match, without slowing the game.
- 02
Dozens of moving parts
Leaders, origins, rarities, effects, turns, progression and customization, and still easy for a first-time player.
- 03
A collection that keeps growing
New cards, themes and seasons. Without a system, every card would start from scratch.
- 04
Dark, but readable
Gothic, Lovecraftian atmosphere, without burying the numbers players need.

02What I did
One card anatomy. A system built to scale.
- 01
The complete game UI
Main menu, gameplay, the four-player board, deck builder, collection, leader selection, loadout, profile, progression, season pass and settings. 50+ screens, one experience.
- 02
A board you read in a second
Clear hierarchy for opponent information, card effects and player actions, with stronger feedback so every play is obvious.
- 03
One card anatomy, many identities
30+ card models, front and back. One fixed structure (top stone, icons, art window, name bar, ability box, rarity) and 8+ families, from Frostbite and Lava to Raven and Pumpkin Halloween.

- 04
A game design system
Reusable buttons, panels, icons and layouts. Gothic display type for titles, clean type for everything functional, gold and violet on dark.

- 05
Game Stats, rebuilt
Three clear sections for stats, progress and goals, with Lifetime Cards Played and Rounds Won up front.
- 06
Ready for production
Implementation-ready assets at multiple resolutions, reusable layouts and rules for new cards, screens and seasonal events.
03Outcome
Shipped, and live on Steam.
- 50+UI screens
- 30+Card designs
- 8+Card families
In players’ hands
The redesigned interface is live, and Dark Table CCG is free to play on Steam.
Built for what comes next
New cards, themes and seasons plug into one anatomy, 8+ families and a reusable component library.
Cinematic and readable
Real dark fantasy atmosphere, with every stat, card and action clear at a four-player table.
Lead role, full scope
From the main menu to the last card frame, I led the UI/UX of the entire game.
I worked on this project as an external UI/UX design partner through Codemelt.
