01Problem
A whole leisure destination in one product: concerts, arena events, dining, camping, padel, stays, a promenade and transport, for teenagers and grandparents alike.
02What I did
Built the design system first, then 300+ screens across the website, ticketing platform and native app, plus the 150+ slide launch keynote.
03Outcome
The platform became NIBIRU’s commercial front door: the debut season attracted 2M+ visits in 53 days, with ticketing as the main way visitors discover and buy.
01Challenge
One destination, eight experiences, every kind of visitor.
- 01
One ecosystem, not eight products
Concerts, arena events, dining, camping, padel, accommodation, a promenade and transport each came with their own logic and rules.
- 02
Teenagers to grandparents
Festival crowds, families and older visitors on one platform: obvious for first-timers, fast for regulars.
- 03
Choice was hurting conversion
So many events and options that people lost track of where to start, and of what to do next.
- 04
Complex commerce
Ticket tiers, VIP and Backstage, camping, table reservations, Fast Lane upgrades and partners. Bilingual, on web and native, in dark and light.

02What I did
System first. Then 300+ screens.
- 01
A design system from zero
Type, colour, spacing, components, interaction states and contrast rules in dark and light. One language for every screen on web and mobile.
- 02
Navigation built around intent
Organised around why people come (a concert, a family weekend, a table), not around the company’s internal structure.
- 03
A full ecosystem, at speed
The ticketing platform, campaign landing pages and a large set of event and service pages, with the native app (11 user journeys) designed in parallel.

- 04
One commerce language
Connected purchase flows for tickets, access tiers, VIP and Backstage, camping, reservations and upgrades, consistent on web and native.
- 05
From product to the public stage
A fully custom 150+ slide launch keynote, shaped with founder Andrei Șelaru (Selly) on a compressed timeline and presented live to 100K+ concurrent viewers across TV and online broadcasts.
03Outcome
The commercial front door of NIBIRU.
- 2M+Visits in 53 days
- 300+Web & app screens
- 150+Keynote slides
Where people actually buy
The ticketing and booking flows are the primary way visitors discover what’s on and pay. Every purchase moves through flows I designed.
Built to scale
Mobile-first, pixel-perfect and delivered in dark and light, ready for new events and services.
A project with real weight
NIBIRU grew out of Beach Please, started in 2022. Together they are estimated at around 2,500 direct and indirect jobs and close to €400M for Constanța county’s economy.
A direct line to the founder
I worked directly with the founder through the whole engagement, with a real hand in the product’s direction, not only its design.
I worked on this project through Codemelt and Omnis.
