Designing a 4-Faction, Color-Driven UX System
What makes Moonies unique is its clan-based identity system — the entire UI transforms based on the player’s chosen clan (Purple, Orange, Green, or Red). Every screen had to be designed, implemented, and optimized in four different visual variants, drastically increasing design complexity. From dashboards to game interfaces, every layout had to be color-dynamic, responsive, and consistent — without compromising usability. I worked closely with both development and game design teams to deliver hundreds of screens, ensuring the platform felt alive, competitive, and user-friendly across all visual identities. Animations within the NFT Upgrader were also custom-built in Framer Motion, enhancing the emotional payoff of each upgrade interaction — win or lose.
Building Gamified UX in a Real Web3 Environment
Moonies wasn’t just about visuals — it required real product thinking. The platform is fully integrated with Ledger wallets, uses TradingView for in-game market data, and connects to tensor.trade for seamless NFT trading. The UI needed to make all of this feel easy and fun, without ever overwhelming the player. My role focused on creating a gamified, addictive, and visually thematic user experience, while adapting the UI to the technical demands of Web3: instant transactions, wallet compatibility, NFT utilities, and real-time sync — all wrapped in a design that feels like a game, but functions like a product.
